SAVANT-GARDE TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF STEVEN MARSH TO ITS MANAGEMENT TEAM AS VICE PRESIDENT CUSTOMER SERVICES & SOUTHERN REGION AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ATLANTA AS ITS BASE FOR THE SOUTHERN US REGION

Boston, MA., Aug. 10, 2003, Boston, Mass. — Savant-Garde Technologies, Inc., a leading EPC/RFID Solutions Provider today announced the appointment of Steven Marsh to its management team as Vice President Customer Services and Southern Region.

Steven brings 24 years of high tech operations, service development, service management and customer care experience to Savant-Garde. During his career at AT&T (NYSE), Unisource (Telia, KPN, Swisscom, Telefonica) (ASE) and Infonet-Europe (NYSE), he supported customers during their sales, engineering design, implementation, lifecycle management and billing processes. He has maintained strategic operations and management support relationships with national and multi-national companies based in the US and Europe including Disney, Sun-Trust Banks, Coke, CNN, GM/EDS, 3M, Compaq, Shell, Mars, Goodyear, Whirlpool, Societe-General, Stora Enzo, Volvo and KLM. As Customer Care Director for AT&T-Unisource, Steve was responsible for leading the Customer Advisory Counsel sub-committee, made up of 'top 15' customers, which defined the strategy, product and product design and implementation schedule for the 'Customer Direct' e-commerce and 'real-time' service delivery product portfolio.

With Steven's appointment, Savant-Garde is establishing Atlanta as its base of operations for engagements and market focus on the Southern US region. The Boston based operation will continue to support the rest of the US and international opportunities.
